Comdata Corporation Announces Alliance with Mercury Fuels

Venture Provides Improved Fuel Purchase Processing for the Business Aviation Industry

Brentwood, Tenn., — October 19, 2009 —Comdata Corporation, a leader in payment innovation, announces an agreement with Mercury Air Group’s Mercury Fuels division, the largest independent supplier of aviation fuel to the fractional jet industry, to provide a proprietary point-of-sale system for the business aviation industry. Designed to simplify and improve the fuel purchasing process, Comdata’s web-based solution streamlines data capture and provides detailed reporting for fixed-base operators and fractional jet organizations.

The point-of-sale solution automates the fuel ticket process with easy-to-use prompts that guide the service agent through the transaction. Driven by tail number identification, the system integrates with existing industry software tools to enhance data transmission and back-office efficiency.

“Comdata has a long history of leading-edge payment solutions,” said Joseph A. Czyzyk, chairman and chief executive officer of Mercury Air Group. “Their expertise has allowed us to deliver a new approach for aviation fuel purchases and enhance invoicing and payment. The program provides tremendous benefit while integrating seamlessly into current service processes.”

“Mercury Fuels shares the value that Comdata places on critical business data,” said Cory Sickles, vice president of aviation for Comdata. “In an effort to improve the customer experience, they wanted to minimize the delay between the transaction and the availability of reporting. The point-of-sale solution automates the purchase process and information capture, resulting in a streamlined data flow.”
