After announcing his retirement effective July 31, 2015, Dr. Wilburn, who has spent more than 35 years at Pepperdine in the roles of Dean of the Business School and Dean of the School of Public Policy was honored at a meeting of the Board of Visitors on May 12, 2015.  Pete Peterson, CEO of The Davenport Institute and most recently a candidate for California Secretary of State was introduced to the Board as the interim Dean of the School of Public Policy.
