Jimmy Jara (JJ) joined MercFuel as Director of Government and Institutional Affairs in August 2026, bringing more than 15 years of international experience in commercial aviation, fuel services, and government contracting.

Throughout his career across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Latin America, JJ has developed and managed complex institutional and government agreements, building a strong global network of customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.

Originally trained in finance, JJ transitioned into aviation leadership roles in Switzerland, Dubai, and Miami, where he successfully expanded supply networks and significantly grew commercial revenues.

At MercFuel, JJ supports the company's engagement with government and institutional customers, helping navigate diverse regulatory environments and procurement processes worldwide.
