On Sunday, July 11, 2011, Joseph A. Czyzyk, Chairman & CEO of Mercury Air Group and the 2011 Board Chair of the L.A. Area Chamber spoke at ServiceNation: the nation's largest veteran job fair held at Sony Pictures Studios. Czyzyk is a decorated U.S. veteran having volunteered for two tours of duty (1966-1969) with U.S. Navy Mobile Construction Battalions (Seabees), in the U.S. and the Republic of Vietnam.

More than 160 area companies and 1,500 veterans and military spouses took part. In addition, Czyzyk meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who made the event the last stop of their recent U.S. tour.

“As a veteran, I was glad to see so many companies coming together to offer jobs to our men and women who have scarified in service to our country. Mercury participated in the job fair and we found a number of very worthwhile candidates. It was also a real pleasure to meet the newly weds---Prince William and Duchess Middleton. They were simply stunning and very down to earth,” said Czyzyk.
