Less than one year after Mercury Fuels opened up their Singapore office, the company has expanded business in Asia through the engagement with Top Aviation Company in Shanghai China. Their principal, Shenghua Gong, joined on June 1, 2025. He is responsible for all the company’s aviation fuel sales in Asia, including China, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Japan, and Thailand.

“Shenghua has already been successful in securing additional business with new airlines in the region. We look forward to our continuing to work together,” says Mercury Aviation Chairman and CEO Joe Czyzyk, welcoming Shenghua to the team.

In addition to his sales responsibilities, Shenghua manages both the Singapore and Shanghai offices. He has a broad background in aviation fuels though his working for a number of airlines and fuel suppliers as a fuel administrator. He has been active in the aviation fuel community for over 20 years.

Shenghua lives near Shanghai with his wife and four children.
