In December, Independent Cargo Screening Services, a service of Mercury Air Group, will have provided Third-Party Canine Screening (3KP9) to four facilities for one year. The 3KP9 program was established by Homeland Security and TSA to allow private party canine groups to start screening air cargo.

Independent Cargo Screening Services, partnering with Global K9 Protection Group, was the first company to be approved for canine screening.

Rula Fakhouri, Manager of TSA Compliance, says “We are very proud to partner with the TSA and to be the fist company approved to utilize the Private Canine screening method.
