Trans Asia Charters, Mercury's Hong Kong-based broker for medium and long-term aircraft leases and aircraft sales is pleased to announce that it was recently granted the exclusive mandate to negotiate the lease of a passenger aircraft for Thai carrier, R Airlines.

R Airlines, a well-established regional charter carrier in Thailand, currently operates a fleet of Airbus A321 passenger aircraft that connect Thailand with China and India. The airline selected Trans Asia Charters to negotiate its lease of an A319 passenger aircraft.

The smaller A319 will be used primarily for charter flights between China and some of the smaller airports located on the Thai islands. These islands are particularly popular with Chinese tourists.

The delivery of the A319 passenger aircraft is expected to take place in October, 2015 and the lease term is five years.
