On July 2014, TAC (Trans Asia Charters)was appointed as exclusive consultants to a new long haul passenger airlines,Seychelles Airlines. The Seychelles are becoming an increasingly popular destination for up-market vacationers from Europe and the Gulf area. The airline plans to commence operations in November 2014, using B 767-300ER aircraft and will serve major destinations in Europe and the Gulf region. TAC will oversee the aircraft procurement program, negotiate commercial and legal terms with Lessors and advise on the appointment of the MRO, ULD leasing and fuel supplies. “This is just the type of contract that assists in our long term strategy of partnership with smaller airlines in niche markets where TAC can play a vital role not just in the procurement of aircraft but ongoing arrangements for fuel supplies and oversight of the airlines MRO programs,” said Bill Pellew-Harvey, CEO and Chairman of TAC.
