We are pleased to welcome Mike Ross, Director of Sales and Supply for Mercfuel, to the Mercury Family. In his new role, he is committed to stimulating sales, promoting new business, and to to continue providing customers great service at a reduced cost.

Mike believes that there are a number of opportunities for growth for MercFuel, including expanding services to aircraft owners at discounted costs, in effect changing the way wholesale resale companies charge for their services. A MercFuel credit card is also in the works.

Over 48 years ago, Mike started his aviation career in the Air Force as a B52 Bomber crew member in Vietnam. He then worked for 6 years as a Communication Command Inspector General for the Safety and Accident Investigation, stationed in Europe. Later, he was Vice President of Projects Administrations for The Air Group, designing their first fuel program. His latest positions were Fuel Manager and the first Director of Safety at Avjet Corporation based in Burbank, CA.

Mike and his fiancée live on a small ranch on a mountaintop in Acton, California, with farm animals, horses, dogs, and cats. He enjoys tending to his ranch and appreciates the peacefulness and beauty on his ranch.
